Baby quilt...

I almost forgot! I made this baby quilt using this tutorial...which was super fast and easy. This is a gift for a family member who is having a little girl next month. I have a confession to make....I don't love it. I intentionally used fabrics that I didn't want anymore just to get rid of them. Is that bad? I mean, when I make a quilt, I want to LOVE it and not give away...but this one...I happily tied a ribbon around it and gave it a new home.
I'm glad that I keep this blog my dirty little secret and that she won't be reading this.....

  1. Haha! I personally think it's great that you found a use for fabrics you're not so fond of anymore — better than letting them go to waste. And the construction of the quilt looks great, so you can be proud of that at least :)

  3. Haahaa..thats funny. I actually just dumped all my unwanted fabric into the catch-all bin of the LAMQG last month. I think it's great you found a purpose for yours, and it looks great! Are you going to the sew this weekend? Since I missed that last weekend and you didn't go to the last sew, I feel like haven't seen you in forever and miss chatting with you....
