I made this!

I made Avery a dress...it took me a few hours but I love it! And it was my first time doing a ruffle!

yay! I am a PROUD owner of a Bernina Activa 220! My wallet is a lot lighter but I am so happy! I even went to IKEA to buy a new table for it.

I ordered this fabric from fabric depot

It is so yummy - I thought it would be a perfect lining for a purse.  What's better than reaching for your lip gloss and seeing a six pack - on a fireman no less??

Ok!  I have finished quilting the top of A's quilt...by hand...  

It measures 68"x 68".

Now I need to purchase a machine to get it finished.  Hopefully I'll be purchasing a Bernina This weekend.

Avery's quilt is growing every time I work on it. It was originally going to be about 60x60..not anymore! I need to buy a larger piece of batting. But first I need to invest in a machine. My hands hurt!

This Friday a few girls in my Mommy group are going to get together for some sewing time...I'll get to practice on a Bernina. I may be a new Bernina owner!
